IndieCade Village

The IndieCade Festival is the only stand-alone independent-focused game festival in the nation. It's flagship festival is held each October in the Los Angeles Area and is open to the industry and to the public.

Events this October 3-6, 2013 include a festival workshops, master classes, a professional conference track, keynotes, and family-focused activities, meet-and-greets with game creators, hands-on gameplay with a GameWalk, live games, Night Games and numerous social events.

//Where is IndieCade?


IndieCade 2013 will be held in downtown Culver City (Los Angeles), CA with its headquarters in the Downtown City Plaza. The Festival offers a unique opportunity to play and preview the latest innovative indie video games and rub shoulders with the creators of the newest games, as well as legends from across the industry.

The IndieCade Village. This outdoor IndieCade headquarters will be located at the corner of Main Street and Culver Blvd in the heart of downtown Culver City.

The IndieCade Festival will be filled with sessions and gameplay:

Big Games

Big games or live games turn IndieCade into a giant playground.

Each year IndieCade provides a forum for new types of public games and play. Games have included city-wide zombie tag, a twister racing games, mad hatter tea parties, paper mache pigeons pummeled with wiffleball bats, a virtual putt-putt course, paparazzi, subtle mobs, and more.

The GameWalk / Festival Arcade is free and open to the public.

Top independent games from around the world are featured at the heart of the IndieCade festival GameWalk. The GameWalk is a unique opportunity for enthusiasts, developers, and the general public to play these unique games, often before they make the big times.

Aspiring Developer Program

Game U is a special conference at the IndieCade Festival of Independent Games that focuses on pulling back the curtain on the game development process, and the work that game designers do
