The Professional Conference

IndieCade’s Professional Conference is the crown jewel in the IndieCade programming. This special conference track takes place October 10-12th in the Ivy Substation and Foshay Theaters. Sessions run October 10-12th and are chaired by Akira Thompson, John Sharp, and Naomi Clark. For an overview of the sessions visit this link.

The IndieXchange

Known for matchmaking and sessions created specifically to support independent devlopment, IndieXchange is held Thursday October 9th. The event culminates with a GameTasting (show-and-tell).

Festival Sessions

Festival facing sessions take place Saturday October 10th through Sunday, October 12th and include Well Played Sessions curated by Drew Davidson, in which finalists games are played live to commentary. Some developer panels are also included.

GameU

Game U is a set of sessions for folks interested in learning about the game development process, how to start developing on their own, and what making a game is about.

Social events and activities include the Professional Conference Opening and Garden Party, IndieXchange networking events, GameTasting, GameSlam, NightGames, Tournaments, IndieCade Village, and the Audience Choice awards

All Access passholders will receive the opportunity to sign up to present their games at the GameTasting and GameSlam (on a first come first serve basis)!

IndieCade’s NightGames provides access to IndieCade’s signature games under the stars. With ore than two dozen games curated especially for the event by Robin Arnot, this stand-out event runs Saturday October 10th from 7 pm until Midnight.

NightGames

NightGames: IndieCade’s NightGames provides access to IndieCade’s signature games under the stars. With ore than two dozen games curated especially for the event by Robin Arnot, this stand-out event runs Saturday October 11th from 7 pm until Midnight.
NightGames is only available to those with a 3-Day Festival Pass or a Saturday Festival Pass. (NightGames wristbands can be purchased.)

Social events and activities include the IndieCade Village, game tournaments, music, and the Audience Choice Awards.
