Nominee and Award Winning Games @ Culver City Firestation One

Location: 9600 Culver Blvd. Culver City, CA 90232
Tel: (310) 253-5900

IndieCade 2013 Nominee and Finalist Games are featured at Fire Station, October 11th & 12th. We thank the City and the Fire Department for their support of independent culture and IndieCade.

The Culver City Fire Department was founded in 1922, replacing the still-young city’s five-year-old volunteer brigade with its single truck housed in a local layman’s residence. With its original station established in 1928, Firestation One has since been remodeled and refurbished, and the new station opened in 1993. There are sixty-two members of the Culver City fire department, working hard to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the Culver City community, and two other stations serving in conjunction with Firestation One.

In addition, the Actor’s Gang spearheads a project in which volunteers from the company work with prison inmates to provide them with a nonviolent means of expression and an opportunity to seek new ways of understanding.
