Private Eye puts the player in the role of a 1950′s New York detective, faced with the task of piecing back together his memory after an accident has left him with severe amnesia.
Confined to his apartment but armed with a pair of binoculars, he must use his unique vantage point to unmask the killer. However, with his memory no longer intact, everybody he once knew is now a suspect.
Private Eye is being developed by us, Slacker Games, a small core team with big ambitions. Our aim is to create a highly cinematic, narrative driven experience for Virtual Reality which places emphasis on story, mood and atmosphere over action. We are heavily influenced by film and think interactive drama holds so much potential for VR.
