Restless is an analog game, a card-based single-session freeform horror RPG in which the players are pursued through the ruins of the world by a monstrous, unyielding horde called the Restless. Each card guides players through a suspenseful or horrific situation, ending with the deaths of 1-2 characters. Consequently, players rotate between portraying characters and portraying the desolation of the world over the course of a single game. The game is moody and provocative, but also draws on familiar post-apocalyptic and horror tropes to deliver an engrossing and replayable experience.
