Osmos, by Canadian developers Hemisphere Games, reflects emerging trends in experimental games that use abstract graphics and biologically-influenced gameplay. Controlling a single cell with a jet stream, its mechanic is deceptively elegant: eat smaller cells, avoid being eaten by larger cells to reach the size of the biggest cell in the level. But use your resources wisely, because the use of your jet reduces your size!  Osmos is its own unique experience, which was called by GameAndPlayer.net “...a work of genius… a relaxing, meditative experience… ethereal…”
