USC: School of Cinematic Arts

The Interactive Media Division in the USC School of Cinematic Arts is a vibrant community dedicated to providing leadership in the education, creation, study and research of interactive media and digital arts. The NYU Game Center is the Department of Game Design at the Tisch School of the Arts. Our mission is to graduate the next generation of game designers, developers, entrepreneurs, and critics, and to advance the field of games by creating a context for advanced scholarship and groundbreaking work. The Game Center’s students, both undergraduates and graduates, are drawn from diverse disciplines including computer programming, visual art, sound and audio, animation, writing, and joined together by the central discipline of game design. SAG-AFTRA

SAG-AFTRA represents approximately 160,000 actors, announcers, broadcast journalists, dancers, DJs, news writers, news editors, program hosts, puppeteers, recording artists, singers, stunt performers, voiceover artists and other media professionals.

SAG-AFTRA members are the faces and voices that entertain and inform America and the world. With national offices in Los Angeles and New York, and local offices nationwide, SAG-AFTRA members work together to secure the strongest protections for media artists into the 21st century and beyond.

Upright Citizens Brigade

The Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB) is the comedy powerhouse founded by Amy Poehler, Matt Besser, Ian Roberts and Matt Walsh. We run two theatres in New York and two in LA, where we feature improv, sketch and standup seven nights a week. We also operate one of the largest improv training centers in the country, with classroom facilities on both coasts. In addition to our classes and live comedy performances, we work with brands, ad agencies, media companies and universities. We run a branded content unit/TV production studio, plus a touring company that performs at theatres and colleges. And our improv workshops are the de facto standard for corporate training.

Santa Monica College

Set on a 38-acre main campus less than two miles from the beach and several nearby satellite campuses, Santa Monica College has everything today's student needs to succeed – computer labs, athletic facilities, performing and visual arts spaces, and active student clubs. Our state-of-the-art facilities have won numerous architectural and sustainability awards, as has our beautiful Quad with fountains, palm trees and benches. Our award-winning faculty works closely with students to ensure their success, and we have numerous student services to help students meet their goals.
