Bargain Quest

Jonathan Ying and Victoria Yin

Bargain Quest is a board game about running an item shop for 2-6 players. You and your friends will take the role of shopkeepers in an adventuring town plagued by monsters. Each round, you must draft item cards to stock your shelves, then among those items, each player will secretly choose one or more to place on display. The items in your display window will determine which heroes you can attract to your shop, however these items are for Display Only and cannot be sold. So players will have to carefully decide whether they want to put their best items in their window or keep them available to sell for big bucks.

After heroes are equipped, they go and attempt to defeat the monster threatening the town. If they survive, your shop will grow in fame and reputation. If, by chance, they are eaten alive… Well, at least they can’t ask for a refund!

Players will encounter a variety of monsters with unique abilities and threats to the town, as well as a huge variety of heroes with special skills and employees that provide unique bonuses to your shops!

The game ends when the third and most powerful monster is defeated.
