Cosmo’s Quickstop

Big Sir Games

Welcome to the fast-paced world of interstellar gas station management! As the newest
employee of Cosmo’s Quickstop, it’s your job to provide stellar customer service to the strangest creatures in the galaxy. From pumping gas to cleaning the glorp room, every wacky, time-based minigame presents a distinct and frantic challenge to keep customers happy.

Customize and build up your Quickstop to suit the ever-changing needs of your customers, all
while satisfying your boss’ demands for more profit and overcoming your rival’s constant
meddling. Feel overwhelmed? Team up with a friend in split-screen, local co-op mode!

All tasks in the game are done by completing mini games – typing short keyboard commands, specific mouse clicks and movements, arrow key inputs, and running to different parts of the space station. The player has to alternate between directly helping guests, maintaining semi-autonomous services, and completing the daily chores of space station life. This leads to the player having to maintain a triage of tasks, deciding what needs to be done in the moment and what can be put off for a couple more seconds. Sometimes, you end up feeling like you’re being pulled in three directions to get everything done, but this stress is partially what makes this game feel so great when you do things right.

The original idea for the theme of Cosmo’s Quickstop was inspired from the tourist traps and funky gas stations of Route 66. We imagined what a once-successful, now-isolated gas station might look and feel like if it was in the middle of space. The ultimate goal in your Quickstop is to restore it to its former glory (and beyond!), so our vision is to have a great progression from dilapidated, featureless, and isolated to a successful business.
