Beyond Screens: Playable Theatre w/ Kate Drummond & Mike Lion from Dacha Theatre

March 3 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm PST

Playable Theatre – Hosted by the Playable Theatre Project

This week’s guests are Kate Drummond & Mike Lion from Dacha Theatre.

Kate Drummond (she/her) is a Seattle-based director, producer, intimacy director, actor, and teaching artist. Kate is a co-founder and Artistic Director of Dacha Theatre, and the Education Director at Jet City Improv. She has a BA in Drama from Washington University in St Louis with focuses in acting and directing, and is a graduate of the Seattle Children’s Theatre Teaching Apprenticeship.
Kate makes work that is sweet, and funny, and heart-wrenching; the tools she reaches for most often are movement, music, whimsy, and nostalgia. Her rehearsal room is playful and radically collaborative, driven by joy, ritual, and dance breaks.
