Anywhere and Everywhere

October 16-24, 2020

IndieCade 2020 will be held October 16th-24th! The Festival is moving online and will feature independent games, game-play, publisher meetings, sessions, meet ups, coffees, live-streamed events and more!

We invite developers from around the globe to gather together to celebrate and experience the frontier of games!

What kind of devs? What kind of games?

The answer is simple – all kinds. IndieCade welcomes work from across all genres and mediums, be they digital, tabletop, big and/or physical, performative, installations, alt control, competitive, cooperative, experimental, experiential, hybrids, or beyond.

We invite seasoned professionals as well as students. We welcome works-in-progress as well as fully completed and/or released works on traditional platforms, on new platforms, or on something from beyond our expectations. IndieCade celebrates and welcomes innovation in all forms!

IndieCade is about INNOVATION and INSPIRATION. That is the criteria we use in determining the work we show and what we seek as a community.

Why Submit?

IndieCade 2020 is a way for independent developers of all stripes to showcase their games, meet developers and find opportunities to play, learn and share their work.

This year developers will have the chance to reach an even broader audience. Selected developers will get to:

  • See their work promoted across all IndieCade channels leading up to and during the festival
  • Meet with publishers and funders interested in their projects
  • Meet other devs making cool things
  • Sharpen their skills and learn new ones
  • Reach their player audience on a broader scale than ever before!
