Teams of two or more compete against each other by completing Challenges in three categories: Art, Facts or Performance. Completing the Challenge successfully allows you to advance your token along the countdown—but fail, and you’ll be forced to do a Terrible Thing drawn from the Humiliation deck.
Terrible People, LLC was initially conceived by two friends during a beer-fueled game night in Los Angeles, California. One drunk handshake and many hours of brainstorming later, the first prototype of A TERRIBLE TIME was born. Over the next several months, Rob and Jack refined the gameplay and content through playtesting and researched the best way to bring their terrible vision to market.
The A TERRIBLE TIME Kickstarter campaign launched on Monday, August 26, 2013 with a target goal of $75,000. Terrible People, LLC is already hard at work developing expansions to the A TERRIBLE TIME line of games.
