West of Loathing is a comedic roleplaying adventure for digital devices. You play as a stick figure exploring a fictional wild west based on our long-running online game The Kingdom of Loathing.
Our primary goal in making games is to bring joy to as many people as we can. West of Loathing's stick-figure aesthetic is a conscious choice in an effort to appeal to the wide array of people who are not typically interested in video games. Similarly, our use of humor draws folks in who might otherwise feel that games are not for them.
Underlying the funny and simple-seeming surface, we are crafting an expansive set of experiences where your choices will have dramatic impact on the narrative that unfolds. Our merger of an approachable style with deep gameplay is fundamental to our design philosophy.
