IndieCade Festival 2020: October 16th – 24th
Festival Submissions open through June 1st!

This Year’s Festival is Anywhere and Everywhere!
What Does that mean?
IndieCade 2020 is moving online.   IndieCade has for over a decade been the premiere gathering and showcase for indie games worldwide.   This year is no exception, and we will be gathering together for our online expo of independent works, workshops and sessions, live play and streaming, meetings with publishers, coffees and chats and more!
IndieCade has broken many barriers industry-wide and this year should prove no exception.  We look forward to bringing our global community together for a ten day festival and celebration, with greater reach and potential than before.
If you are a selected dev you get to:
  • See your work promoted across all IndieCade channels leading up to and during the Festival
  • Meet with publishers and funders interested in their projects
  • Meet other devs making cool things
  • Sharpen your skills and learn new ones
What do we look for?  What kinds of games do we show?
  • digital
  • tabletop
  • big and/or physical
  • performative
  • installations
  • alt control
  • competitive
  • cooperative,
  • experimental
  • hybrids
  • things we haven’t seen before! NEW formats!
Who should submit?
  • creative developers!
So if you are a current student, a recent grad, a hobbyist, a professional, or a seasoned dev making new work you should submit.  If you love innovation you should submit.  If you love creating, you should submit.  And tell your friends who love making games too!
In closing – We want to see your work and bring our community together for the best festival year yet!  Expect more community online gatherings throughout the summer as we gather our global developers together in anticipation for the fall.  We will be posting more about the amazing programming we have planned for the coming months here and on our social channels.
