General Festival Overview

What is IndieCade?

IndieCade is an organization that supports independent game development and provides a series of international events exploring the future of independent games. IndieCade encourages, publicizes, and cultivates innovation and artistry in interactive media, helping to create a public perception of games as rich, diverse, artistic, and culturally significant.

IndieCade’s vibrant public festivals and showcases are dedicated to celebrating the wealth of creativity and voices within the independent games community. Our annual series of events highlight innovative indie games, productive networking environments, spaces for important discussions, fun play events, workshops, screenings, and much more.

I need help from others to develop my idea – can you put me in touch with possible collaborators?

Attending an IndieCade event is a great way to meet future collaborators. Over the years we have seen successful, IndieCade Finalist and Award Winning games developed by teams that had met at a previous IndieCade event.

You can submit your work-in-progress idea, as long as it’s playable, to IndieCade. By doing so, you automatically become eligible for free passes to the festival’s Developer Talks.

Lastly, keep an eye on our website for news about IndieCade-organized game jam events, they are the perfect place to collaborate and create with other game makers.

You are also invited to join IndieCade’s Discord server.
