Thursday Music

Gerard Marino
Thursday, 12:30-1:30 pm / Courtyard
Live remixing of his game soundtracks.

Gerard K. Marino (GKM) exploded into the game music scene in 2005 as the principal composer for the original GOD OF WAR series. He further cemented his reputation for larger-than-life thematic orchestral writing with his contributions to LEAGUE OF LEGENDS, DC UNIVERSE ONLINE, and THE AMAZING SPIDERMAN.

He has since played the Brazilian Independent Game Festival, The INDIECADE Awards Show, Orlando’s FANTOKU festival, and the Noize Society. He also produces, curates, and performs in a monthly game/anime/fandom remix event called BEATCODE at an intimate Los Angeles night spot.

Baby Buddha
Thursday, 6:30-9 pm / Developer Reception-Bergamot Station
Live electronic experimental jazz.

Psychedelic punk jazz born from late night improvisations in the San Francisco new wave club scene…
The live band featured different players from several other bands in the scene at the time.
The 1987 release of “Everyone Is My Age” on Hyperspace Communications, included players from both the east and west coasts.
Still performing together in Southern California after the turn of the 21st century, and continuing to evolve as a recording project, Baby Buddha looks forward to performing more music festivals, club venues and special events.
